June 27, 2016

I think that my weekly updates have been pretty lame because I get to the computer p day and i forget things so I´m trying to be better and write stuff during the week in a little notebook, so we´ll see how it goes.
This week was pretty interesting. It was hard to find people at home this week but we are really working hard. This week Sister C. Silva had her 21st birthday so I talked with an irmã in the ward and we had a little surprise family home evening for her. With cake and everything- this ward is awesome three irmãs in the ward made cake for her.
Some members came teaching with us and gave us references. We went with Pauiana to her great aunt and uncle and they were a cute old couple who are very crente in their religion but it was great because we testified about how we have a living prophet Thomas S. Monson to guide us today.
We were teaching an investigator who is sisters with a recent convert but it didn´t work out. When this happens I feel a little sad because the gospel blesses our lives so much, but I feel good because we´re doing our part and I believe that everyone has a right moment, this one just wasn´t her´s.
This week we taught a lot about the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ and I´m so thankful for the Holy Ghost that helps me have the knowledge that we have the Church of Christ here on the earth.
We taught an investigator and left the Book of Mormon with her. When we returned another day she said she loved it. It was a sweet moment when the people we teach feel the Holy Ghost and feel the power and love of the Book of Mormon.
We had out festa junina which is always fun. There was a mechanical bull, i asked for permission to ride it but it didn´t work out :)
This weekend we had our stake conference to move some limits of the stake. Pres del Guerso talked and Elder Mazagardi too which was really cool to hear from him. Our bishop was called as stake president.
Yesterday we had a family home evening with a family who has a son on the mission and found out the little girl in the family is 9 and wasn´t baptized yet! so we´ll get to work :)
Other highlights - an investigator gave us a bar of soap and a little dog came out of nowhere and gave me a little scratch which was funny after.
This week I thought a lot about the atonement and the power capacitator it has in my life and also about the restoration and how much it shows that God loves His children.
We´re already half way done with this transfer! It´s flying!
