Weekly Update:
Hello!
This week lots happened. Sister Cannon arrived :))))) It´s a sleepover every night yay. It’s fun we´re always on the same page. This week was the mission counsel. I don´t make part of the counsel anymore, but I was asked to giving a training for them. For lunch the Pres ordered a ton of pizza mmmm de graça.
This week we had our Master Chef ward activity! We were happy and we brought a couple investigators. At church lots of our investigators came to church so that was exciting. Sister Cannon and I assisted in the gospel principles class.
There was a ward leadership council about missionary work so I hope some things will start to change in the ward.
We lost an hour for day light savings. It is getting real hot here.
We are teaching Rafael who is a senhor who is good friends with a brother in the ward and he´s come to church twice and is really liking it. He works night shifts and after a night of working he came to church! We found two really good investigators this week and they also both came to church and liked it.
We are teaching someone who is currently in a homosexual relationship which I've never really dealt with until now. But they really want to change their life and said that the party life ect. já deu. They asked if we could teach the significant other about the law of chastity too :) The Lord is really preparing His children. Sometimes we might not even have a will to do something but if we have just a small desire the Lord will work with us to develop the will to change.
Lumarilza needs to get married. We just need to pick out a date to go there with her husband. Marriage is always complicated aye aye aye
That´s about it.
Oh also got my flight info que louco

This week passed by so fast I don´t even know what happened hahahah. But it was a good week. We organized our ward activity Master Chef! It will be Saturday so I´m excited about it. We received our transfer call Sister Avelino went to Perdizes and Sister Cannon will be my last companion!!!! She´s been praying and asking for a whole transfer and it happened! So I´m glad I already love my last companion :)
This is my last transfer. I can´t even believe that it is. So weird the time has passed so so fast. I always write to my recent converts and as I was writing to give to the areas at the transfer I felt so grateful for my mission. For the opportunity to serve the Lord, to meet such great people. I didn´t baptize thousands or anything, but I feel so grateful for the changes I made in myself and the opportunity I had/have to share the gospel and watch the Lord change others through it.
I want to work very hard this last transfer and give it my all. I asked the President how can I aproveitar ( i forgot that word in English) my last transfer to the most and he said In swimming they would say leave it all in the pool, When you leave the pool say I have nothing left to give,I gave it all. You will feel so good when you say to Him, I gave it my all.

So that is what I´m going to do :)

Weekly Update
This week we had our Multi Zona. It was very good. Presidente Thomas wants to bump up the baptisms so we´re going to baptize more! It is always great seeing the people of the mission. I gave my exit testimony which is weird cus I still have a lot of time left. My comp recorded it. I´m really grateful to be on the mission. The conference made me happy to be on the mission this very time because I feel like I´m doing all I can because I´m a full time missionary :) Hearing the messages at the Saturday afternoon session I felt very privileged. Also I knew Mom was thinking a lot about me and Ben the whole time :)
A few weeks ago I made a contact with a woman and we passed by this week and the Lord is really preparing her. We felt impressed to teach the Book of Mormon on the first visit and she really liked it and read. It seems to always happen that we find someone good with time and after they find a job working at a mall where they have to work Sunday all day, but this time it was different! She works at a mall but she had already advised her boss she wants to quit because she doesn´t like working Sundays. What a blessing :)
We are starting to teach Jessica the commandments. She came to the Sunday afternoon session with her baby and there were two talks that were perfectly perfect for her doubts and questions. The other Jessica also came Saturday afternoon also with her baby and she said that before she was feeling a little down and after she felt much better.
I loved conference. Seemed to pass by so quick. All of my questions were responded :) I had never tried writing questions I wanted responded during conference until the mission and I´m so glad I´ve learned it-the Lord really responds to our questions!
We are planning a Master Chef activity and we invited Pres Thomas and the fam to be the judges. I hope this doesn´t blow up in my face and the ward will work on it but I think it will be good.
It´s already the last week of the transfer we will see what´ll happen!
Luana´s mom wants to get married and baptized so we´ll get on it. We will teach her today with a couple from the ward.
I think that´s about it

Weekly Update
This week was interesting. We had a division. I went to Ferreira (woohoo!) with sister Hall (woohoo!). It was very good. Sister Hall and I end our missions at the same time so it was nice we´re on the same page with everything. It was good because we reflected about our missions and how much we´ve learned and changed because of it. Really reminded me the importance of our testimonies and that I know that this is the Gospel of Christ and everybody needs it.
We read 2 Nephi 2 which is one of my favorites with our investigator Jessica. Jessica and her sister Awana are praying to receive answers about the church. I explained the importance of prayer but also the importance of our faith and diligence after we pray. Doesn´t adjunta if we just pray and don´t read the scriptures or go to church because maybe the Lord put your answer in a verse or in the talk in sacrament. When we read Nephi Jessica said that she received an answer and again said she received another answer to another question at church in the Gospel principles class.
Another investigator got an answer to her prayers. She said she had the same dream twice that was pretty clear, but wasn´t at home when we passed by to go to church. It has really shown me that the Lord always answers our prayers if we search for guidance and pray, but we will always have our agency to choose and act in the end.
At church a missionary returned home and gave her testimony and brought her mom who isn´t a member yet. Her mom needs to get married but we are excited to start to teach her.
I loved loved loved the wowmen´s session especially President´s Uchtdorf´s talk. It seemed like it was for me. I loved how he explained faith. I always have questions and it is true when we trust in the Lord and endure, our faith grows and we receive the answers we need.
Tomorrow we have our multizona. We will not have one in November because a setenta will visit the mission so I think maybe tomorrow I will have to give my exit testimony.
Boa semana até mais!

Weekly Update:
This week was good. We are really seeing miracles. Although no one came to church this Sunday, which is always kinda stinky, we are finding people who have been prepared by God and who are interested and have a desire.
I know when we ask God about what path to take in life, specifically about His Church and Gospel, He will always respond :)
We had our Reunião/trenamento das Sisteres this week which was at the President´s house. I really liked it that it was at his apartment - much more cozy. It was weird because now I´m one of the oldest sisters. The sisters from the senior couples of our mission gave talks and sister Cannon got called to translate hahaha. Translating is fun. The meeting was very good for me because I think as we have more time on the mission we forget to study the basics and have our habits. So it brought me back to think and study the basics of Preach My Gospel and I´m getting more out of my study. But the meeting also was the first social thing I´ve had in more than a year and it reminded me how horrible socially I am haha. But Really.
We are teaching Jessica and her sister Auana whose mom died recently. Auana prayed as we had invited her about what we´re teaching and she had a dream about her mom coming in the door at Christmas. It was a very tender moment and we had the opportunity to talk about eternal families through temple work.
On the way to the sister meeting another sister talked with a woman on the bus and she passed her address to us. We went there this week and she said that she had changed her life and told us about her life that really showed she did. And she said she wants to continue to change and wants to be baptized :)
We are also teaching a young couple who are legally married (milagre!) and they are very interested and understand everything when we teach and ask questions. I love investigators who ask questions! I always ask questions. I think questions are one of our greatest tools in having a testimony.
At church we had a class that was very interesting. It talked about how many people make changes in their lives but after a time they return to old habits. It talked a lot about a true conversion and compared with the Book of Mormon, that when faced with destruction the Nephites repented but after a time they are blessed and the threat is taken away they fall back in old habits. It made me really think about true conversion- anti Nephi Lehites and Nephi. We need to understand and use the atonement to have a real conversion and perseverar até o fim :)
It´s already half the transfer...Yesterday we spent the day looking for people on a list of unknown people in the ward in which nobody still lived here and it rained até o pó. Now it gets real hot and later will pour :)
I think that´s about it.
I love you,
